On September 25th, 2018 Joey Ransdell (Nerbonne Lab Postdoc Research Scholar) present a seminar entitled “Voltage-gated sodium channel accessory subunits fine tune neuronal firing” as part of the Invited Postdoc Research Colloquium (IPRC) at Brandeis University in Boston, MA.
Brandeis University Postdoctoral Association launched the (IPRC) series in 2018. IPRC is a seminar series that runs throughout the academic year and features talks from outstanding senior postdocs from both inside and outside Brandeis. The goal of the IPRC is to showcase the work of talented senior postdocs and provide networking opportunities within the greater postdoc community and Brandeis faculty. Joey was selected as an IPRC speaker which gave him an opportunity to share and receive feedback on his postdoctoral work from Brandeis faculty, postdocs and students. The Brandeis community in turn also benefited from hearing about Joey’s research here in the Nerbonne lab. IPRC encourages applicants from a broad range of fields in the life sciences.
